Penny Thies

Penny began her career in higher education in 2016. She is a transplant to Kansas, but has roots in the southern United States. Holding a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, you can find Penny currently working on her Master of Art in Organizational Communications from the University of Kansas.

As a first-generation college student, Penny knows firsthand the difference education can make.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, writing, cooking, and reading. There is nothing like a time period book on a rainy day with a cup of coffee.
